The Core Books and the Series are carefully staged in terms of vocabulary, print size, language function, tasks, content and the process of making sense of print. Each Core Book serves as the vertical component of the Programme and provides the keywords for that level. They are introduced through the powerful medium of narrative.

In the “Your Child Can Read” Series, a bonus section is added called 'More Fun With Reading.' This section consolidates the child's learning. The child now reads a story using the words he has just acquired in the Core Book giving the child a truly satisfying reading experience.
